Great library day

I was at the Saint Martins library for hours today and probably made about 3 trees' worth of photocopies for my designer project that's due on Monday. We have to archive the work of 4 designers and 1 photographer; I chose to study Issey Miyake, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Thierry Mugler and Richard Avedon.

As I occassionally looked up from the photocopy machine, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the library had some serious style. Here is my favorite:


Please note the incredible mixing of prints... not to mention that the background books match her outfit! I especially love the coral necklace peeking out from underneath the scarf:

Now all I have to do is figure out a way to organize the 2,143 photocopied pages into a cohesive archive...
